London Business School, London
2003-ongoing
Situated in an elegant 19th century Nash terrace overlooking Regent's
Park, the London Business School has a standing as one of the top
ten Business Schools in the world. It is a graduate school of the
University of London and is an acknowledged leader in the field
of management, education and research.
Terry Farrell and Partners have been appointed to prepare not only
a detailed masterplan for the future development of the campus
to enhance the identity and setting of the school but also to develop
an estates strategy, which will guide future 21st century development
of the site, in line with its specialisms in international business,
e-commerce, entrepreneurship and finance.
TFP have prepared this framework within a series of discrete, deliverable
project proposals, working with the finer qualities of the existing
buildings to create a new range of academic facilities and a public
realm commensurate with the school's world status as a centre
of excellence. The individual projects offer the potential for
up to 100,000 sq. ft., of additional lecture, teaching, social
and administrative accommodation.
