BP 3/4 Canary Wharf, London
2001

Terry Farrell and Partners put forward options for two plots in a prominent location at the junction of West India Avenue, West Ferry Circus and West Ferry Road. The concept design is for a 9-storey landmark building, which would complete the 'gateway' to the Canary Wharf Development. The location for the speculative building is an asymmetrical triangular site.

A key feature of the building is the extremely efficient use of floor plates with a net to gross of 83% being achieved on the main floor plates.

The concept focuses on two plots, with potential for development either individually or as part of a phased scheme. The design allows for multi-tenanted use or for occupancy by two distinct headquarter businesses. Both options offer high quality signature architectural design, whilst maximizing speculative efficiency.
